I know sample playback on the Meta is still a work in progress but it would be great if, once the Basic Wav Player has evolved into the Sophisticated Wav Player, we could eventually get a multisample player like the one in the Disting EX — basically a Eurorack version of Kontakt Player with zones, velocity switching, round-robin etc., plus various options for CV input. Feels like the kind of thing the Meta could do better than other Eurorack devices.
There was some discussion here about porting the Squinky Labs SFZ Player, but it was understandably skipped as too ambitious at the moment: Squinky Labs Ported
It might be that the streaming framework developed for the Basic Player makes it more feasible now?
