MetaButtons expander

MetaButtons is an expander for MetaModule that adds eight buttons to your interface. You can connect up to four MetaButtons together, making it easy to expand your setup as much or as little as you need.

Within MetaModule, each MetaButton can be mapped to virtual buttons, switches of any size, or even knobs. You can also customize each button’s behavior in MetaModule to suit your workflow—choose between toggle or momentary button modes.

A MetaButton can control up to 8 virtual parameters, enabling you to manage multiple functions with a single press.

MetaButtons gives you powerful, flexible control that will help PUSH your patch to the next level.

Yep, Juno are taking pre-orders in the UK. Ordered mine!

What was the price ?

GBP111.99 plus GBP5.57 postage.

Looking forward to it!
I felt like buttons were one thing missing from the MetaModule so far, and this will take care of that!

I’ve ordered one as I really miss not having buttons but I’m also wondering if a midi controller with LED feedback would have been more useful. Something like the Intech

Or even this:

But maybe this would also need a midi host controller?

I have a page on my lauchpad with two 4x4 button matricies and a few various button params, and with a recent update that added midi feedback the various stated get reflected in the controllers LEDs. Might be ur solution

I’ve been using button objects on the Erae II and they work well, even inputting through the In/Out expander.

are these class compliant? Amazing little tools, thanks!

I use them with this https://www.cme-pro.com/h2midi-pro/ or https://www.cme-pro.com/product/usb-host-midi-interface/ so you can add the controller and have spare midi ports.

Great, thanks. I was just coming here to ask if it was possible to add a controller such as Intech along with another midi device (Digitakt2 in my case). So if I understand correctly, I could connect the Intech to the USB-A port of the CME, Digitakt to DIN midi in on CME, and USB-C on CME connected to Meta? Would I need additional power for CME?

Yes, it works like that. It depends on the current consumption of the usb stuff you plug into the CME. If you need extra power you can add a normal effect pedal power supply. (9V PIN(-)) You can add 8 usb devices in total and configure routing and filtering via win/mac/android/ios app.

FYI - Juno have just put back the UK release date to 13th October - maybe to account for shipping if they weren’t physically released to suppliers from North America until today.

Both Juno and Signal Sounds have units in stock and orderable today.

Yep, the site has updated from yesterday and my pre-order is showing as despatched now  . Can’t wait to try it out!!

Got a CME H2 in the mail yesterday and it is working great to tie together an Intech grid, Digitakt and MM. Very handy little device especially with the easy (and quite extensive) configuration via IOS.

Nice to hear, that it works fine for you. For me it´s like a swiss army knife at a very affordable price.

If you need to push the boundaries a bit more, you can connect an https://www.iconnectivity.com/mioxm

I already run 2 of these and a MioXL in my main rig and yes they are great!
But for a little portable setup with Digitakt and eurorack pod, the CME is an excellent solution.
