Firmware v2.0.9 is out!
The big feature is Bi-directional MIDI, aka MIDI Feedback. Thanks to @etcetc for spear-heading this effort.
This adds the ability to send the state of MIDI-mapped parameters back to a MIDI controller, so the controller can update its state (e.g. display the position of the actual control).
Also there is compatibility support for VCV modules that initialize the names of their jacks and controls in a certain way (StudioSixPlusOne)
Auto-mapping has some improvements:
- “Automap All” will now use available Audio Expander jacks, if present
- “Automap Knobs in New Knobset” will name the mappings by the knob name only. Previously it didn’t give them an alias name so the default “ModuleName - KnobName” would show up.
Finally, we disabled “focus wrapping” on dialog boxes with just 2 or 3 buttons, and also on the side-bar list of volumes/folders. This makes it easier to click on the thing you want without accidentally turning “one too far” and wrapping around to the first button or widget.
