Wifi expander woes

Hi!
It’s seems i’m one of the few people that cannot get the wifi expander working (or at least in my situation)

I can connect to the module via a browser. I’m using chrome, but I cannot establish a working connection between vcv rack and the wifi expander.

I have tried on different systems, windows and mac, and different wifi setups.

The wifi networks at both 2.5ghz.

Tried giving vcv app access trough security settings on mac, but for some reason is crippled from within vcv.

It tried cyberduck for dropping files, but I can’t log in in anonymous settings, does the wifi expander have any password or defined port?

Any ideas?

Some app where I can drag and drop?

Have you set the Wi-Fi address in the Meta hub within VCV?

Sorry, re-read your post and my first answer wasn’t relevant. Did you get it to work? I found that every once in a while, I have to retype in the address, and it starts working again.

You may need to update your firmware, the latest is v1.6.7. When you update, make sure the wifi expander is on (light is green), and connected to the MetaModule.

Ok, that’s the problem. I don’t include the Wifi binaries in the v2.0-dev firmwares.

So update to v1.6.7 in order to update your wifi firmware.

Then go ahead and update again to v2.0-dev if you want
