I have just installed and setup a WiFi expander on my MetaModule. I hit a small roadblock when I tried to access the reported http:<local ip address> on a Chrome browser (& a Firefox browser) running on my Mac (Sequoia 15.3.1). I thought I would post my experience here in case this trips anyone else up.
It refused to connect to the Metamodule page. Although when I tried a ping command from a terminal window to the same address, it worked. Turns out, I had to enable Chrome and Firefox (& VCVRack) to have Local Network access … that solved it immediately. If I missed something about this in the MM instructions, sorry!
Maybe, @danngreen , perhaps you could add something in the " *My browser won’t load the Wi-Fi Expander’s page" section here Wifi Expander - MetaModule Manual about this to help others, at least for Mac users…
