Hi,
about the wifi expander:

Please, would it be possible a dark mode in the wifi expander page?
and, isn’t it possible to download the internal or the card files? only upload?

will be possible in the future to send firmware update files or plugins?

by dark mode you mean to turn off the wifi expander led?

I mean the web page it’s too bright to my eyes. I would appreciate white text over black background. thanks in advance.

If you use the WiFi button on the MetaModule Hub in VCV, you don’t have to load the web page at all!

I was trying to update via wifi expander but it´s not possible :grimacing:

what´s the problem to upload firmware files to MM? It´s a little bit weird spend 100 bucks on the wifi expander and still needing to use a usb to update firmware… (respectfully)

It’s just the file size. Transferring over Wi-Fi itself is fine, but we designed the protocol between the Wi-Fi expander and the MetaModule for small files, so we’d need to overhaul the Wi-Fi firmware to make it work for large files (error detection, request to re-send packets, etc). There are some memory limitations with the Wi-Fi expander itself, too, so we’d need to work around those too.

Limiting the file size to 1MB prevents all these issues and is still handles all patch files (most are < 10kB).
