Wifi expander has changed the game for me

Just dropping in to say that the Wifi expander has completely changed how I approach the MM now. I was struggling to find inspiration with it, because I found the process of building in VCV and transferring by SD card very cumbersome. But with the Wifi expander I can quickly prototype, test and update a patch until I get it where I want it. No more guessing about what modules will work or whether I’ll have enough CPU power. Just push it to the MetaModule over Wifi and see what happens. Amazing!

Under unknow circumstances my Metamodul Shows me in VCV „ no response“ after pressing the wifi Button. I think it helps if i open the browser before sending a patch to reconnect the wifi to the expander but i‘m not sure which reason it could be exacly to get this message in the VCV Meta Modul.
Any idea i‘m on Mac latest Os.

Same issue for me. It worked fine fore a little while with my brand new Mac and, all of a sudden, not any more. I checked the security trick described above, but it didn’t for me. The button on the WiFi module stays green, The IP address is correct, etc… I can’t figure out what happened. There were no update in between.

I dont change anything in my Mac preference but from time to time shows this issue message the display from MM in VCV. Works very well in general.
I´m very glad with my M.M. but found some little bugs after 3 day of using.Hope to get some expanders in the next months.

is it possible to, when you use a module in a patch inside of vcv rack that is not currently installed on the MM, download and install new modules / plugins to MM via wifi?

No, the only thing you can send to MM via WiFi is patch files.
