What a wonderful virtual world

I know this forum is about questions and bugs and patches, but I just wanted to share that I absolutely totally love this module, and I’d welcome the Djembe being a real eurorack module one day. Thank you 4MS!

hear! hear!

unfortunately tis the nature of social media and forums, most communication focuses on trying to overcome issues, or “future possibilities” rather than the living in the now, what can we do today with what we have

4ms/dan have done a great job on this module, its a great achievement, and Im having fun with what is already possible today.

also a shout out for the support, updates and interaction dan has provided since launch, its been great

Thanks! I’m very happy to see other people using the MM and having fun with it, and all the cool new things that are coming out of this. Hearing people dream about future features for what they’d like to do with the platform is exciting. Our team has been working hard for years on this (since before the pandemic), so to have it finally come to life and be so well received is exciting.

this Module is simply AMAZING and so much fun its not only the perfect “swiss Army Knife” of modular but a innovative idea creator .

i’m have a world of fun and trying so many modules that i would never even think of using , and i cant wait for many Module companies to jump on board with this and port their modules ( im looking at you Instruo / Erica Synths )

Thanks again Dan for all the hard work

The MM and Five12 Vector Sequencer is what finally got me to break down and get into modular

Just jumping in with more praise. The amount of care that went into designing this module is really impressive. For something this complex, the UI is really well thought out.

Also, having this forum from day 1 has been awesome, especially Dan’s constant presence. Though there haven’t been that many bugs, it’s great knowing that they are quickly recognized and fixed.

Kudos!

A few thoughts on the MM module after using it for 3 weeks. Got to say that I’m super impressed with it - it seems solid. Dealing with the interface is easy and intuitive. After owning the Poly Hector for a year, I sold it due to the many bugs, that killed the workflow. And the lack of support was disappointing. MM is another story - appreciate your hard work Dan.

It’s great to see that cv in/out of the module is precise. No need for calibrations etc. Awesome !!!

I’ve mostly been building smaller module setups within VCV rack, and transferred them to MM. My only wish here would be to be able to return the MM preset to VCV rack to correct patching errors etc.

Honestly it’s mind-blowing; almost everytime you get an idea you can build it. If you need this or that module; it’s there. I got a faderbank 16n. But the other day I missed my 8 CV faders (used my voltage block for this years ago) within my modular, and dang, I created one in minutes. There’s been several utility modules I wasn’t sure I needed, but still was curious about trying out in my Eurorack system. Several times the last weeks I was able to try them out in the MM.

To me it’s a good thing, that we don’t have a thousand+ list of modules and unlimited CPU. It forces you to be more precise and focused in your patch creations. Also I prefer fewer, but more bug free modules. I’m sure a quality over quantity concept would keep more customers happy over time.
