VCV (or general modulation) question

Not sure where to ask this question, as I kind of want to do this purely inside Meta.

Let’s say I have a Sine wave that goes from Zero->5±>Zero->5- ->Zero.

I’m looking for a way to separate the positive and negative CV and disperse it out to different modules. Not sure what terms I should be looking up to do such a thing. I’ve found modules to INVERT a signal, but that’s not what im looking to do.

Anyone have any terms or modules I can look at to do this? I saw something on Modular Grid that did this, but I cant seem to find it now.

First thought: Use the Count Modula Voltage-Controlled Switch. Run your sine wave into both the top switch’s In input and the CV input, i.e. the two top inputs on the module.

I’m not sure if it uses 0v as the switching threshold — if it doesn’t split up exactly right, put an offset in front of the signal going to the CV input and adjust.

Thanks! I’ll take a look!

Yeah, I just tried it — give it an offset of 3.6v before it goes into the CV input.

Awesome!! Much appreciated!!

I found it!!

4ms SISM can also do half-wave rectification, and has separate + and - slice outputs!

Awesome! Ill take a look!

Is this what you mean?

It can work also with analog logic with maximum and minimum.
