Valley Plateau 27 percent cpu 48K -- sonic wonderland

Just wanted to chime in how wonderful it is to have Valley Plateau running in my rack! A single instance sounds awesome at 27% cpu at 48K. & room for a few more bits and pieces too.

I agree, although it’s useful to have the Airwindows reverbs as alternatives, as some of them are less CPU-intensive.

also check out the airwindows “kcathedral3” a nice full stereo on. its not yet available in the vcv plugin (sadly) but is available on mm. it sounds p good and it will go down to 14-18% cpu use if you turn the drez knob way down(between 5 and 15)- which makes it sound dark and a bit eeire which could be nice for some situations. note that when loading it in on mm, all the knobs are set to 0 by default so no sound will go through it until turning the knobs up (i though it was broken at first).

Yes Airwindows is nice toolbox to have…

I have said this in another thread.
Plateau is one of the primary reasons Meta was an instant purchase for me.
It is one of my favorite reverbs on any platform- and has WONDERFUL control options including the clear input,

There are many good reverbs out there though

It is worth watching Omri’s work on Plateau, going back to the old VCV rack- he has many videos exploring its use.
