Tutorial Requests?

Hello All,

I wanted to take a chance to field the forum to see if there are particular processes or topics you would like video tutorials for. In addition to the short video + forum posts that I’ve been doing, It’s also very easy for me to do longer format streamer style videos for in depth explanations - especially topics that pertain specifically to Meta.

I know that MM is very dense and there are some workflows or concepts that might be confusing to users, especially with the frequent firmware updates. Any feedback at all on educating users, or holes in topics already covered would be appreciated so that we can best serve you!

I guess tutorials are always appreciated because I can only talk about myself and I can tell you I know far too less about all the modules that I really could use. Sometimes I wish there was something like a printed catalog.

Speaking personally, I would get a lot more utility from tutorials demonstrating cool patching concepts using a MetaModule than from tutorials going over the functionality of the MetaModule itself. Show me how to make and sequence a great glitch drum patch, or how to build an awesome FM synth and then how to use it with an external sequencer and modulation source.

Those videos would demonstrate the awesome capabilities of the MetaModule in a kind of backdoor way.

I agree with this. Patching techniques would be great. One thing I have run up against are the CPU limitations when I go from VCV to MM. To that end I started on a stand alone web page that allows you to submit your MM .yml to see if it will run. I’ve been using it but it does need a little more polish.
