I try to create a techno rumble patch who use minimal plugin I see some VCV tutorials but with not available plugins in Meta .
I’m asking if some can help with v2 plugins
Meanwhile I convinced my friend Angus creator of Fxpansion to make an one module to if all in VCV and then maybe port it to Meta in hardware as one ia Friend is the guy from Expert Sleepers
But it will take some Time has hé is creating a new company (thanks Roli!).
All what I can see online for Eurorack use too much modules and even Angus as a teoría about we (all) do it wrong because and there’s algos that can reduce the amount of modules (see Ableton racks about bundle …)
So meanwhile the old guy still not used the pictured setup since I bought Meta will appreciate any help.
Of course it’s going to be a matter of taste, preference and experimentation, but for me I would start with a video, let’s say this one from Omri Cohen:
Then each module that they use in the video, find an equivalent on the MetaModule, using the Module Finder
So the first module they use is the Delay. There are tons of options (29 to be exact). Maybe start with the Fundamental Delay? Then in the video they add a Reverb. Also lots of good options here. 4ms Freeverb and the Valley Plateau are both excellent choices. Then they add a distortion. Try one of the ChowDSP modules, or just pick one at random and see how it sounds. Next is a Low Pass Filter. Also tons of options here. For side-chaining there are fewer options, but still plenty if you search for Compressor in the Module Finder. Just keep going like this, if you don’t like how it sounds then try something else. You might not be able to reproduce everything exactly as they do it in the video, but that’s ok – just play around, maybe you make something you like even better?
As a tip, I would sort the Module Finder by CPU (right column), and choose the lower CPU modules if you don’t know which one to use. That way you’re less likely to hit the CPU limit as the patch grows.
And also, since you have other modules in your rig, you can always route the inputs and outputs of a module to the panel jacks, and patch in your other modules (e.g. an external filter or controller or something).
