Be great to be able to swap modules while retaining connections, essentially applying a form of automap on the new one.
Also, being able to automap all modules in the patch at once would be great, or maybe a selection to automap the knobs but not connections as the connections would be an issue?
Oh and not sure patches are renaming when duplicating, seems to just duplicate with the same name even when I change it.

Interesting… it would need figure out how to retain the connections since there’s no real convention for jack names (“In” vs “Input” vs “Left In”…). Need to think about that more.

Yes, I was just pondering changing “Auto-map in a new knobset” to “Auto-map Knobs (in a new knobset)”. I think the jack mapping for auto-map should be separate since that’s more a patch fixture.

Ok I think I know what that’s about. There’s a file name (which is what you enter in the Duplicate screen) and there’s a Patch Name (which is what you see on the Patch List). You can see the file name if you hover over the File Menu icon.
Probably to reduce confusion, when you duplicate a patch, it should update the Patch Name, too.
