Can someone at 4MS reach out to Surge XT so we can get their modules in here? Their wavetable VCO especially as well as basically everything else. They’re incredible if you don’t know about them, get them on vcv rack.

I’ve looked into it. And I would love to convert them, thought it’ll take a little bit of work. The VCV implementations have dynamic elements so it won’t port 1:1. But the underlying DSP is all in a nicely organized library so it’d be fairly easy to make our own MetaModule versions (sort of like how we have MetaModule versions of Airwindows). Then we would need a conversion mechanism to convert form VCV to MM.

yeah I love the way their cv inputs map/offset with click/hold etc. but we can do all that with external modules or whatever if just the source stuff went in.

I’m wondering if this is still on the table, or being worked on? I’m new to the Meta module and as I’m building patches in VCV I keep gravitating toward the Surge XT modules.

It’s a little above my paygrade unfortunately. That thread is now for the SquinkyLabs port, Dan says he might need to do the SurgeXT one himself.
Adding Surge makes so much sense for the Metamodule. Seems like it would fit very nice with the VCV, 4ms and Mi modules.
