Hi there.
After spending ten days with my new MM, I have a couple of suggestions.
- One thing that would be really useful is if it would be possible to be in a mode where the encoder switches between available knob sets by simple rotation, without having to move the cursor and click “next” or something like that. For example, one could enter this mode by holding or double-clicking the encoder on the selected knob set name, or something along those lines. And exit with the back button.
This would be very useful as a “concert” or “play” mode, where interaction with the current patch through knobs is the main focus and fast movement between different knob sets is desirable. Move knobs, turn encoder to move to another knob set, edit knobs, turn encoder to move to another set, etc.
This would of course be very well combined with a “catch” or “interpolate” mode for knobs that are not in the right position. I’ve seen that has been proposed already - hope it happens.
- As I do a lot of patching of the analog computation kind (adaptive ‘circuits’, integrators, etc.), which needs quite some trimming, and it seems there are some differences in how it behaves to how laptop VCV does, it would be wonderful to be able to monitor signal or signal levels in some way for troubleshooting and debugging of patches. I could patch it to an output and and external scope, sure, but a simple numerical display or mini-scop when a particular jack is selected would be extremely helpful.
I’m sorry if any of this is already proposed or even available - let me know!
Otherwise, thanks for an amazing and very, very useful module.
