I may have missed it, do we allow an I/O jack to stack so that it can go to multiple sources/destinations?
i remember in the loopop youtube review, he mentioned that you can have multiple virt cables from an output(vcv behavior since forever), but cannot stack multiples on an input (a recent addition to vcv). hope we can see stacked inputs on mm at some point! it seems like would be a more cpu friendly way than having to use a bunch of bog umix type modules instead.
Yeah, we can probably make that happen: it would save some CPU if you have a lot of mix-downs and don’t need control of each level.
+1 here for more than one cable patching on inputs. I keep using unity mixers for this purpose which i think ups the cpu usage though for a tiny bit.
If you we finally have this feature will there be options for averaging the signals or keeping them in them in unity? I suppose we should have.
Yes, I would very much like that too. Even if the CPU hit from simple mixers isn’t significant, it would be nicer to do without adding in another module.
Just getting into the metamodule (and loving it!) but also would love for this feature to be added. Keep up the great work!
