I just got a brand new meta module yesterday. I downloaded some modules from the MetaModule site and put them on the included SD card. Note that I have tried putting them both in the root directory and in a folder called “metamodule-plugins”, but when I insert the SD card into the metamodule and select “scan disks”, the “plugins found” and “plugins loaded” sections both show nothing and the “focus” disappears (meaning turning the rotary does nothing, clicking it once will send the focus back to the main “plugins” tab title in the settings, with nothing seeming to have been accomplished). It’s definitely being recognized though since Im not getting the “no plugins found” error that I get when I remove the SD card. And the module is isolated in its own pod32. I performed a factory reset but still the same. So far from what I can tell this is the only thing not working. I guess I should just suck it up and buy another SD card so I can test if its this one’s fault, but just wanted to throw this out there asap in case u had any ideas? I was gonna get the wifi expander anyway but still
have you tried updating to the latest firmware? the plugins that are available for download, would require the latest firmware installed first.
i havent since i assumed it would already be installed, trying that now!
haha wow yep that did the trick! lol
glad it worked!
