When “Show Knobset Name” preference is set, don’t display the popup alert for changing a knobset — if you want to make it more obvious that the knobset has changed, flash the knobset name where it’s displayed.
When using the quick-adjust feature (adjust a parameter by pressing and turning the encoder) the popup displays “Click to Change — Coarse.” But the “click to change” function doesn’t work when using quick-adjust so this is confusing. Maybe clicking the back button could change the knob from coarse to fine? If not, it would be better to delete the “click to change” label.
It would be nice to have a global setting to always show knob and jack aliases in the element list instead of having to set it per-module.
Good catch. Yeah, we can make it work like the KnobSet page where there’s no notification when the knobset changes
Another good catch. I’d favor keeping it simple and delete the text. The normal legacy adjustment pop-up can be accessed by double-clicking the param name (triple-clicking to jump to Fine mode), that’s probably easier than push+turn+back+turn.
It’s supposed to be global. The settings file just saves whether jack aliases are hidden or shown, there’s no module-specific information attached. Is the setting not loading or saving properly for you?
