Here is the patch posted today:
Sidechain with Pressed Duck in MetaModule
External Audio Path:
-Main audio outputs on channels 1 and 2.
Internal Audio Path:
-Bass is macro oscillator on “SUB” algorithm fed into a liquid filter, then VCA with it’s own dedicated A/R envelope
-String sound is a macro oscillator on “PLUCK” algorithm fed into a liquid filter then VCA with it’s own dedicated A/R envelope. The string sound is then fed into a tempo sync’d delay line.
-Bongo sound is a macro oscillator on “DRUM” algorithm fed into a tempo sync’d delay line.
-The CR78 top channel is the kick drum and is sent to the pressed duck sidechain input.
-The CR78 bottom channel is the hi hat and is sent to one of the track inputs on the pressed duck.
-All three melodic elements of the patch are sent to the Pressed Duck inputs.
Internal CV Path:
-An LFO clocks a quad clock distributor which handles all of the master clocking for the patch.
-Channel 1 of the QCD clocks the Orca’s Heart
-Channel 2 of the QCD clocks the delay lines
-Channel 3 of the QCD triggers random voltages, while it’s inverted output clocks the hi hat.
-Channel 4 of the QCD clocks the kick drum.
-The clocked random voltages are sent to an Orca’s Heart sequencer and are modulating “algorithm x, algorithm y, shift, rotate, and spread.
-The CV outputs of the Orca’s Heart control the pitch for the three melodic voices.
-The gate outputs of the Orca’s heart trigger the amplitude envelopes for each melodic voice.
MetaModule knob mappings:
A - Spread (Orca’s Heart)
B - Shift (Orca’s Heart)
C - Space (Orca’s Heart)
D - String filter - the filter cutoff for the plucked algorithm
E - Bass filter - the filter cutoff for the sub algorithm
F - Delay - master dry/wet for both delay lines
U - Kick volume
V - Bass volume
W - Strings volume
X - Bongo volume
Y - Hat volume
Z - Duck - The ducking amount of the Pressed Duck
