Hi, I just powered up my MM for the first time. 4ms 40x pod. When I scroll through the modules of many patches, the screen will go into a crazy flicker state. this does not happen on the knobset page or settings, or even if I click into an individual module. However, scrolling through the module bring up crazy flickers such that I can’t even see which module i’m scrolling over.
Sound, ins/outs, etc work fine, it’s just the crazy screen flickering. what should I do about this?? thanks
It almost sounds like a bad connection bewteen the PCB and the screen. Just a guess. Can you send us an email? 4ms@4mscompany.com

Yep, I sent an email and attached a couple videos. I’m not a DIY kind of guy so not sure how i’d fix the connection myself, but given that the rest of the module works fine, maybe it’s that? it’s not the power (i tried it in multiple pods and multiple headers), and there is no flickering when i’m on the knobset or settings screens. just when i’m looking at a patch with tons of modules on the module scroll screen, and even in some of the individual modules when on the screen.
How would I try to fix the connection?

If you would like to re-seat the ribbon cable connector rather than shipping the MetaModule, instructions for doing so are found at the end of our repaneling guide. This is not guaranteed to fix the issue, but it seems likely and it’s what we would do here, and only takes about ten to fifteen minutes.
