I am seeking general guidance on the rules for a successful patch. I am trying to improve my hit ratio from VCV to MM. I am failing in the sound department more often that I care. The patches run, all modules transfer, I know “no stacking”, no poly and that the audio interface can / should be ignored in the patch. I sometimes nail it first time, but if I did that more often it would not lead me to post. I am currently not obtaining the learning from my mistakes. On latest dev build, what are the rules I am overlooking please?
What is going wrong with your patches? If they run and all the modules transfer, I don’t understand what the issue is.
My latest example I am trying to get my head around. Using MetaAIO patched to 15/16 no problems. I repatch my outs to 1/2 and remove the MetaAIO, save, transfer and nada. The problem will be with me, but I am struggling so I am searching. I can do what I have done in the past and unbundle /rebundle rename patch etc, and I will ultimately get it to work. Is there a caching of cable outs or something? This is the wisdom I seek in this example but am after any wisdom generally?
sounds like you might have found a bug with that module? if you can repeat the issue, definitely report it in the bugs section.
there definitely shouldnt be a caching of cable connections between loading different versions of a patch.
