I’m increasingly patching my MM on the fly, which means that sometimes when I turn off my rack I have an unsaved patch that disappears. It would be lovely if the MM could try to store the unsaved patch and restore it on restart — the Oxi One is very good at doing this.

Yes. It could be an auto save option in the preferences.

I can imagine that saving an entire patch might be tricky since a module could lose power at any moment – failing that, what about just remembering the active patch and loading the last saved version of that patch on startup? I feel like I should be able to save a patch, turn off my modular, and have that same patch load when I restart.
(This would be particularly valuable because the quickest way to save a patch is to call it “Untitled Patch 132” or whatever, and then it’s hard to remember which untitled patch you were using last time.)
This would be useful for live performances too, to recover from on-stage blackouts.
