Runs stable at 128bits, have not tested faster. Odds are it’ll crash.
There’s a lot going on here.
3 Plaits. Either individual out/aux mix out with variable volume for each per Plait.
or take Stereo Out with Panning of each Osc
Tuning Page helps you tune
Octave switch page for staying in tune and pitching up/down
3 LFO section has 1 LFO per Plait Osc. That LFO is then routed to 4 destinations. 3 on Plaits, and 1 to an external channel for use in the modular external from META. Each destination can be offset!
loving these hefty patches! im also attempting to push my mm’s up there, so this is a good tester for that. also, really appreciate the included .vcv file for further study
This took me hours to make lol. I think if I knew the cpu load better it would be way faster.
Hope you have fun with it.
I was super close to fitting eq per Chan in there lol.
Maybe tomorrow I’ll see if there’s a way to refine the aux mixing and throw in the eq. I didn’t even think about a filter cause I wanted to send it thru my modular filters.
My fav part of the above patch is oddly enough the octave switches… do we have a note switch that not a full octave? I could easily fit that in there…
Hi @SunSpots , you could also try substituting one of the AirWindows Console Channel modules, to replace the 4MS Pan modules (and then the STMIX can be set to unitary gain on each input pair). For example, the ConsoleMCChannel gives EQ (hi/low shelf boost or cut, parametric mid boost), Pan and Gain. Or could just slap one of these after the ST MIX across all 3 channels. Depends on the character of the EQ desired (and CPU on the MM). Many options! Or the Bogaudio Stereo EQ …
Here’s an example of just changing one channel to use an Airwindows console.
I used a single Bogaudio EQS instead on channel 1, MM reports 80% CPU (vs 75% for your original version). Real problem is there are no more available knob set slots to map the EQ controls!
NOTE: I updated the patch on that site to have cent/semi/octave tuning. I spent an hour trying to get EQ to fit and it just didn’t for me. the EQ seems akward for me on just one chan, but that’s cool. I really just wanted tuning info. do whatever you want with the patch I include the VCV file now in my zips for just that reason
