Record and play back knob movements

First up - first! :grinning:

Secondly - amazing work here, love the VCV integration and can’t wait to use the hardware.

As for the request - could the MM somehow record and playback knob movements, and maybe even use the USB C connection via MIDI to sync these to MIDI clock?

Welcome to the forum!

That’s an interesting idea. Certainly possible.

There’s a suite of tools we’ll be adding in a future firmware, including signal analyzer, and multi-track recorder, and this could fit into that.

Thanks - good to know it’s possible.

2nd this feature! for reference: JW makes a great classic module called “XY Pad” that somehow conveniently stores the recorded movements inside the patch file (as opposed to having a bunch of CV .wav files floating about)

This would be awesome +1

+1 to this. basically ads modulation input to all paramters… but just like the current bug where input cv causes cpu to overload and crash the patch, this would also cause CPU overload and crash the patch… See my other post

I agree that it would be very useful to be able to record the movements of the knobs of Meta. It would be awesome to be able to define a length of recording in bars (and time alternatively), to be able to sync/restart fader recording when inputting a clock/reset signal into Meta.
