Preparation for tutorial video on this module

Hi all! This is Eddie. I’m preparing to make a 4ms meta module tutorial (for the module itself) in Mandarin. Could you please share some crucial ideas that I should mention as a ‘pro’ or ‘con’ of this module?
I just got this module for a week, and I’m still experimenting the function. While using it, I’m preparing for the video content.
Just share whatever you love or hate about this module plz.

Pros: 1,500+ different virtual modules to choose from; save as many patches as you want; integration with VCV Rack; easy navigation; excellent audio quality; expanders; MIDI.
Cons: people hear the feature set and can’t believe it actually exists until they see one in person. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hey Eddie - thanks for doing this for us. Some topics our users have been interested in online:

-Creating entire self contained performance patches on metamodule alone
-Using metamodule for utilities in a larger system with the audio expander
-Metamodule as an effects processor / multi effect unit in your patch
-Multi voice sequencing using parallel quantizers, or some of the more sophisticated sequencers like Strings and Cartesia
-Metamodule as a modulation powerhouse spitting out lots of LFOs and macro movement in a patch
-A very complex MIDI to CV hub, especially for decoding CC controllers like USB MIDI mixers
-Complex sound design chaining multiple voice and effects modules together
-Treating MetaModule as a “try before you buy” environment for a few manufacturers, especially 4ms as we’ve ported almost the entire hardware lineup to the environment
-Using MetaModule as a dev environment for making your own hardware and experimenting with the idea in the physical domain
-Our library is frequently updated with modules we make in house as well as porting modules from third party developers. It’s a growing ecosystem that continuously gives users more than what they paid for on the day they bought it.
-The plugins for MetaModule are open source, giving users the ability to modify plugins if they want them to do something else
-We have a nice little community on this forum where users can help one another troubleshoot and share ideas. It also gives users the ability to communicate directly with our developers for feature suggestions or bug reports
-We have weekly demo patches and tutorials that are posted on our social media and this forum for inspirational starting points

My personal love for MetaModule is the fact that I can prepare an entire life set and save everything, needing only a small 4ms pod to play a gig live. Having the ability to recall something in the exact state it was in at my studio before I left for the gig, and always go back to that state if I get too off the beaten path is an absolute gamechanger.

Thanks for your detailed reply! I’ll include some in the video!

Ha! For the cons that’s why it’s necessary to do more video content to introduce those function
