Possible to use cv-midicc module in meta?

quick question i recently saw the vid where 4ms made a patch utilizing midi cc to cv but can we do the inverse? use the cv to midi cc module and send cv from out rack through the inputs and to something like my eventide pedals .. loading the patch in meta it doesn’t work and says that cv to midi cc module ignored

Yeah - doesn’t look like that CV to CC module is working yet.

@danngreen is this one on the roadmap??

I asked for it in the V2 release announcement but didnt get any answer…

Have a look in the announcements. It has been addressed in the most recent build. Full screen is also available.

It’s not exactly addressed. 2.0.9 is providing bidirectional midi support. Still there is no cv-CC module.

Sorry I didn’t understand you properly. I haven’t used them specifically yet but does the the “CC # out” selection of the Midi-Map of the CV-Midi module in RackCore do anything to help at all?

Sorry but I lost you here.
In the the rack core available is the cv-midi module which doesnt have a cc out except form the mod wheel(cc 1). The cv- midi CC module from VCV is not available in the rack core.

the cv-midi module currently in mm has 3 cc outs - cc1,7, and 10. you can use multiple cv-midi module and change their channels to make those 3 cc’s x16. its not the best solution as the cv-cc module in vcv, hopefully we see that ported to mm at some point.

Yes, I’m still strongly hoping for a proper port of all the MIDI modules. Building multi-channel patches on the MetaModule rather than in VCV Is a pain.

Yes you are right there are 3 cc available but of course using different cv midi modules to get the same 3 cc spread over different channels is not a solution. What worries me is that the developer has not said anything about this omission.

dan has mentioned before that at some point the remaining midi modules will be eventually ported, but no date was given

Ok that’s good then!!
