I want more Grids type modules.

Very nice! Is Pizza possible?
Pizza & Crust are closed source. The Kompas code was published as open source. When questioned on their forum on Discord about porting Pizza & Crust to the MM, Bastl advised “We do not have a plan to support this module at the moment.”
*Pizza, Crust and Basil all run on the same hardware platform and their firmware can be swapped.
i guess get the pizza here while it’s fresh out the oven (before it gets yanked off the internet) haha! ive never used these modules b4, but now seems a great time to start playing with them. ty @etcetc as always for being a porting king!
@etcetc only ported the Kompas module. No Pizza for you!
Pizza really is awesome
Hi there, I maintain the Bastl Pizza VCV plugin and get asked this roughly once a week (here, modwiggler, youtube, dms, vcv forum) @Rrobosyn is correct, but I will check in with the guys again (working on Basil just now). Worth noting that the VCV plugin uses quite a lot of CPU (and needs to to correctly do FM wavefolding etc).
That would be amazing!
welp! obvs for the best (until they greenlight this being on mm)
I think plenty of people would be happy to pay for Pizza (and lots of other modules)- it’s not like we are just trying to get free stuff.
I reached out to Bastl (edited slightly):
As for the Metamodule and Kompas, it is totally OK that it’s been ported. […] Happy to see it will be getting more life through the MetaModule.
For the Pizza series, we would like to keep that to ourselves for now […] Maybe someday we would like to add it to the MM, but for now let’s keep it as is.
It may be that as we add more modules to the free collection (planned) it makes sense for me to maintain that on MM too, but we can cross that bridge when it happens.
Thanks for letting us know.
I am a big fan of Bastl’s modules and I think their position is certainly understandable. With respect to their discontinued hardware modules, I would love to see the Bastl Grandpa Granular Sampler made available for VCV/MM.
