Sorry if this has been discussed already, but would it be possible to add an option to flip the screen? For some of my patches, and for rack organization, Meta would be more optimal in my lower row.
That would be really nice.
I see many people using their modules upside-down.
Might also actually be great for left-handed people, with the main encoder on the left side!
There would be the small issue of the knobs being incorrectly oriented but that’s an easy fix using some Davies with the set screws, and those micro knobs on the trimmer pots.
Came here to search if this has been requested. It has. It is a good feature request.
How would it even work, the pots are potentiometers.
I’ve already done it on MM and other modules. It works fine. Just flip the knobs around 180 degrees and retighten the set screw. Then the knob pointer is oriented correctly.
It’s definitely more than just flipping the knobs, I was just responding your question about the knobs. For the small trimmer pots I used the trimmer toppers from thonk. I linked them above.
Then of course the screen is not ideal upside down. Thats where we need the magicians to code this up!
ive been performing with mine upside down, to keep the cables out of the way. honestly not too difficult to get the hang imo. best part is the look on people’s faces when they examine the rig
but certainly if there would ever be a way to flip the screen 180, wouldn’t complain
