Hi,
Would it be possible to add NYSTHI modules to the MetaModule? Their collection in VCV Rack includes great Buchla-inspired modules.
Is this feasible? Would love to see this happen!
Thanks

The NYSTHI modules are closed-source, so Antonio would have to do the port (or share the code). You could try getting in touch with him and asking.
i noticed a few nythsi modules were ported into cardinal (ihtsyn), and there are a bunch(maybe all) in the ios app mirack so it seems it could maybe be negotiated for mm?
just the mverb, pitchshifter, and twisted mverb are under the ihtsyn sublabel
I think that the modules in Cardinal and MiRack are from Rack V1 (which is why the GitHub link hasn’t been updated in over 3 years). I believe that MM only works with Rack V2 compatible modules?
i spent a bit of time working on cardinal, mainly creating custom ui panels/svgs for the vcv based ones so we could use them in cardinal legally( the code for the modules is open, but apparently the vcv modules’ artwork/layouts is not). anyway it’s definitely based off v2:
mirack still uses some custom variant of v1 since vitaly had a falling out w andrew belt and isn’t allowed to use the rack2 code in his commercial app due to licensing changes with v2(changes caused by the drama between belt and vitaly). but he’s since added his own version of polyphony to mirack, a nice v2 trait.
hopefully at some point down the road we can see stacked inputs, polyphony and other nice v2 traits(such as modules ‘talking to each other’ beyond wired connections) in the mm.
despite the drama between vcv/mirack, we still see nythsi in mirack so it makes one think it could happen for mm.
