installed latest firmware and it worked fine but turned on today and I’m getting no sound from any of my patches now I’ve checked all cables and tried reinstalling firmware without any luck.
I have now done a full hardware reset and still no sound , just stopped working , it shows the patch is active but get nothing out of the outputs
its been now 6hrs since i had it turned off , re-started the system just now and and it all of the sudden it works
nothing changes , no cables unplugged just decided to work

That’s very strange. Do you have any expanders connected? Which output jacks were you using?
If it happens again, go to Settings > System > Check Hardware.
Unplug all cables. Look at the line that says “Out jacks patched:”. You should see 8 white dashes.
One at a time, plug a cable from each output jack to a mixer/amp so you can listen. Each time you plug in a cable, you should see one of the white dashes turn to a purple X. You also should hear a loud sine wave coming out of the jack, a different frequency for each jack.

I was using Input 1 (sending drums into iroi) and outputs 1 and 2 (plugged into my 1010 bluebox mixer) these were the only cables connected
I was originally using iroi after updating to latest firmware before it happened it worked fine, what was connected to the device was the Akai midimix which i use for midi control additional knobs, which i been using for a month without any issues .
i simply turned unit off and then on again later in the day and sound was gone , except it wasn’t working on any other patches either
i did run the hardware test at the time and seemed like all the inputs were working but outputs only had white crosses , what i did then was a full hardware reset , reinstalled old fw ( still no sound ) then re installed latest fw ( still no sound ) i left it for few hrs while at work , after work turned it on and suddenly everything was fine again , no sound issues , all outputs working again .
its been working fine BUT i have noticed it failed to save my patch twice ..
otherwise this beauty just keeps on giving , have not bought any modules since i got the meta module and really thinking about another one when stock becomes available locally
OK, that suggests the jack plug detection was not working: white “-” means no cable detected. I’m not sure why it would stop working and then start working again, though.
Do you have an Audio Expander connected to the MetaModule (even if you weren’t patching it)? It’s possible for that to interfere with the jack plug detection.
no expender yet , just midi controller (akai midimix) connected to the unit
been playing with it all day today , no issues or repeat of the no sound issue , the weather been very weird here, hot and humid very humid maybe something to do with that
