No more sounds + clicks and loud pop

Hi,

I just made my first patch on VCV and transfer it via WIFI expander.
→ 4 NANO VCO (attached)

When I set the filter (FELINE - VALLEY) at it’s highest frequency I get a pop and the sounds just stops.
I have to load another preset , make it run and then load back this one to make it work again.

Another behaviour is that I get large pops and clicks when I run some presets (eg : this simple mixer preset).

Any ideas?

I also just found out that I can’t make panel cable connection with all the CV IN of the FELINE VALLEY

Hi,
Anyone having this bug related to the FELINE’S cutoff.
If it’s value is passed 9.73 I get a pop and the patch stops.
Would be nice to use Feline

Adding more details to issue with the Valley - Feline module.

  • Retested and notice the bug on latest firmware v2.2.0
  • The issue only occurs at 24kHz and does not occur at 36 or 48kHz
  • Patch has to be reloaded after the module ceases passing audio

Can confirm.
Also can confirm it happens on VCV Rack (latest version of both: Valley v2.4.5 and VCV v2.6.6)

I have a suspicion what it could be…

Yep, it was the filter cutoff being allowed to exceed Nyquist. The filter range goes up to ~14kHz, so at 24kHz sample rate Nyquist is 12kHz, and when you set the filter cutoff to that – boom.
I fixed it in firmware, it’ll be in the next release.
