a nice small/simple one
when you add a new panel connection to a jack e.g. module: out → out 1 it brings up a ‘dialog’ , with dropdown, cancel, ok.
the encoder steps thru these dialog elements in reverse order.
i.e. clockwise goes to previous element, anti goes to next.
(latest released firmware 1.1.1?)
Huh, it feels backwards to me if I reverse it! For me, turning the encoder clockwise selects the next clockwise element. So the focus goes around in a circle that matches the motion of the encoder.
Maybe the layout could be tweaked so there’s a more obvious “order” and we can get rid of the wrapping.
but its different to other dialogs - no?
(Im pretty sure this is why I spotted it)
I guess the ‘convention’ is not so much clockwise or not on dialogs,
but rather left to right, top to bottom.
(at least in the west )
so clockwise , moves l->r, t–>b
OK, yeah this dialog starts at the bottom-left and then goes up, then down, the left. I see.
We could have it start at the top (the dropdown), then go down to bottom-left button, then the bottom-right button.
