I forgot to mention that the newest crop of Moffenzeef modules has been ported to Meta, including the popular Boy Harsher x Moffenzeef “The Runner.” All of the standalone devices I made over the years I have since souped up with CV input for most parameters and 1v per octave for all pitch related stuff. In addition to all of this, I’ve done full video rundowns for all of the modules:
All of these updates are already live on the plugins page, I just forgot to post about it a few weeks ago.
I’m currently pushing Stargazer to VCV’s library and am very excited to share it with all of you as I added a bunch of intense features that weren’t on the original version. Over the next few weeks I’m planning on porting it to Meta, all of the other stuff in my VCV library is already integrated to the Meta plugin. Hang tight!
Apart from the unique modules, I really enjoy the stories (in the tutorial video’s) behind them. They make you feel much more connected and eager to try the modules out — hats off!
Thanks for posting this. I wish more people would make simple demos like these, especially for more esoteric modules. Made me think of new patches immediately.
Stargazer sounds amazing, will you port it as well?
Thank you! I would like to port Stargazer. I’m currently navigating it - it’s a large project. I did just submit the newest build to Cantrell which actually has some new modules that are pending in the VCV library as well. A bunch of optimizations were pushed too, and they run much better on MM. Yesterday I was able to load 16 Runners at once at 48/16 and hit 90% CPU. That’s 16 filters, 16 delay lines, 16 random LFOs, 16 mixers, 16 distortions, and 80 oscillators running at once! they should be up on the website in the next few days - it’s v2.0.6.
All of the new modules that were posted to VCV yesterday including Stargazer have been ported and optimized for MM. They’re going through their final testing before being posted. Hang tight! In the meantime, feel free to mess around with the VCV update.
