Hello,
when I add a Cv to Midi module in VCV, it doesn’t translate into MM, and I get the error “Not found : Core - CV-MIDI”
It’s a bit confusing since there is a corresponding module in RackCore, and to my knowledge, the core modules are always loaded into memory ?
Am I missing something ?
Are you using the latest version of the firmware + plugins?
Yes, firmware, plugins and VCV are up to date.
Hello,
I’m having the same issue. I’m using firmware v2.1.14 and the plugins from 03/26/2020. The module cannot be loaded via VCV. In MM itself, I can select and use the module. However, I’m not receiving any gate information (source: Gate2 input). If I use the clock input (as well as the Start and Stop inputs) as an output instead, signals are sent to the MPC One.
I have the same issue on v2.1.15 and plugins from 4/20/2026.
When loading a patch that has the CV to MIDI CC module int it, it says:
“Not found - Core:CV-CC”
I can find it manually on the metamodule under “RackCore” and then “CV to MIDI CC”.
Unfortunately I need to do like… 90 mappings
so doing it manually on the meta would be very very cumbersome to say the least ^^
Maybe it is just a naming issue as the error message quotes a “Core” and not “RackCore”?
I would appreciate a quick fix @danngreen as I really need this to work for my livesetup at superbooth ![]()
If I can give you any information to track down this bug let me know and I am very happy to help.
Cheers
Jan
i am also experiencing this. seeing the following message when running some patches:
Not found:
- Core:CV-CC
- Core:CV-Midi
Ok, I’m looking into it…
I added a brand alias for “Core” so that it uses the RackCore modules, so this will work. I’m pushing a v2.1.16 now that has this update:
https://github.com/4ms/metamodule/releases/download/firmware-v2.1.16/metamodule-firmware-v2.1.16-firmware-assets.zip
awesome dan ty for the fast fixes!
Thanks for the quick fix. I installed the update, started a new patch, and only used the CV > MIDI module there. I can see “Start,” “Stop,” and “Continue” displayed on the screen, but I’m not receiving any signals at all. My setup hasn’t changed since then.
