Hey folks, I am currently looking into CV recorders for a project, and it struck me that perhaps there is a way to do it with the MM. Anyone knows if this is possible already? I would like to record quite long stretches of computer-generated CV (20 mins) and then play back to control my modular. I do this today from my laptop with SuperCollider via the Befaco AC/DC, but it would be awesome if I could avoid the laptop for live situations and have the CV prerecorded in a module.
i would also love this functionality! i think the only way to play back longer cv samples will be when the 4ms sts sampler module is finally completed for mm (post 2.0 firmware?). it will allow streaming very long samples. recording will probably be done using a separate built in system. all that info is according to things dan mentioned in older threads (that i cannot find atm). hopefully we will see those functions for mm in the first half of next year 
sidenote: there’s an amazing module for vcv called xy pad by jw modules that do cv recording and playback. not sure about 20mins w it though. i think i remember seeing dan mention the possibility of porting jw brand ones into mm with some of the new api graphics additions so again hoping we see those in mm at some point
