Hello, is there a mixer with seend/return available? I was hoping to use Venom Mix 4 but the Send side module is not ported yet I guess

MetaModule does not support the use of VCVRack Expander modules (e.g. none of the Venom mix expanders will work, even if the code for them has been ported to MM as part of the Venom plugin). As @tony10000 has suggested with the Nano module, you need to find single modules with the functionality you want.

I’ve tried using the NANO Performance Mixer on my MM and in my experience the master output levels were pretty low. I’ve looked in NANO’s hardware documentation and can’t find any info on whether the master outputs are eurorack level or line level. I ran the outputs through an NE NIve Grad in my rig to boost the outputs by 12db. (Is there a VCV/MM module that will boost signal levels in the same manner?)
I did not experiment with it very much because it really needs the AIO expander on the MM to best make use of all of the inputs/outputs.
You should be able to use a matrix mixer to create sends and returns.
I was hoping to use the Bogaudio MIX8 because of pan and mutes (the MM buttons will be nice for that) AND 2 fx sends. So that last part won’t be possible because of the expansion question.
What mixer set up can I use for 8 tracks of audio wanting level, panning, mutes (and solo?) and at least 2 fx send/returns?
Haven’t tried it on MM, but dBiz PerfMixer fits the bill.
Dbiz has very nice modules but unfortunately there is no documentation about them…
This one looks pretty self-explanatory, except I can’t figure out the stereo jacks at the top left.
Yeah - I was puzzled by those as well. I assume they are for chaining mixers together. After mixing everything and then applying the Master volume control, then that result is summed with the upper left inputs. I think it would be nicer if those inputs were also attenuated by the Master.
