Midi out problems

Trying to send usb midi to a behringer pro1. After trying some sequencer, settled on just a blank patch with rackcore cv-midi. v/oct is to panel jack, receiving static cv. Gate is to panel gate in, sending a square wave, 0-5v. Running latest dev. Able to send midi via computer. What I’m looking for is a midi clock to an effects pedal, and was wondering if usb midi to pro1 to midi out of pro1 would get me what I need. I can try an electron box tomorrow.

Question - should gate a v/oct be sufficiant to get midi stream - perhaps other inputs need be activated?

“Note: at this time, you cannot send MIDI out from the MetaModule, there is no CV->MIDI functionality.”

There is midi out functionality - load empty patch, load rackcore module, send clock to gate. The readout of cv-midi shows note on, note off, velocity and note#.

I can get midi transmit to a computer using a midi host to host adapter I had lying around. More testing is needed, I suspect it has to do with a usbc to usba problem using the included cable.

Solved - So midi to the pro1 is working thru cc-midi rackcore. It required the use of two gadgets I had lying around but they are small and can be placed inside the ‘skiff’ (hate that name).

From meta>meta included cable>usb host-host>usb midi to din.

The host-host adapter is called seville soft midi to midi. Probably an arduino thing, anyway it just works. The usb midi to din is a doremidi umh-21.

The nice thing is I have din midi which is what the H90 requires. Now just hoping I can get a midi sync going which is what motivated in the first place.

Thanks for the link. Will stick with my solution though - able to send usb midi to computer if desired this way.
