Hi! I’m connecting my Hapax via USB to the Metamodule, and it seems that if I do, I get an instant MIDI loop?
Is there some way to disable MIDÌ forwarding on the MM?

Any thoughts? (20 chars)
so are you saying that if you have an empty patch, and you plug your midi device into mm, it automatically sends the incoming midi back out to your device?
i just tried with my usb midi din in/out adapter plugged into mm, and sent midi into the mm from, say, ableton on my win11 laptop, the mm doesnt loop that same in midi back out automatically for me.
so im wondering why your particular device would do that? could it be something you setup within your patch?
have you got some details of what you were doing? a patch?
Ive had my Hapax connected to the MM in the past without any issues.
I can try again, but it’d be useful to know what to test specially.
e.g. was the issue midi clock? notes? cc? everything ?
also there is a lot of control on the hapax even if you had (e.g ) a midi clock loop, you can turn off receiving/sending of clock on the hapax (depending on where you want the master)
Really sorry for going MIA — got slammed with work.
I tried other patches and realized it’s just this one patch. What’s funny is that it should have no MIDI modules at all.
But oh well, easy enough to work around. Thanks for the advice!
