Midi (from Digitakt II) over USB?

hi,

so i am trying to add up a midi clock input module and select midi in via USB (MM frontpanel) as the source.

the goal is to get the MM to sync to midi clock from my Digitakt and respond to midi CC sent from Digitakt II.

i bought the MM and a 4ms 26hp pod to use as a stand alone unit to use in conjunction with my Digitakt and assumed they can communicate via USB. (midi clock and perhaps even audio via USB)

this seemed like a perfect match but now i am uncertain if this is even possible as i can’t find any documentation on using midi over USB on the MM.

there’s not even a setting in the main menu that allows the USB port to be auto configured for midi (clock) in.

has anyone attempted this?
thanks!

responded to this elsewhere but responding again here (as it might be useful for others passing by):

digitakt is a midi host and so is mm so they will conflict when connecting via single usbc male<->male cable. you might try this usb-din adapter as a go between:

i’ll use my RK-006 for the midi part of things,
what about audio out via USB, does MM support that?

seem like that would definitely work! if ya can, let us know here if it does:

also it currently does not do audio via usb, but maybe someday?
