I think the way we setup those buttons in the Hub module, they respond to GUI events and not to the parameter value changing. I don’t remember the exact reason for doing that but I think it was because the buttons trigger a GUI action (e.g. file browser window or IP address window pops up) so it made sense to keep it there.
It’s possible to make them normal params, just haven’t gotten to it (it’s been on the list for a little while now!)
