MetaModule as Midi to CV convertor from DAW?

Can you use the MM as a Midi to CV convertor from your DAW ( MaxMsp, Ableton…)?

Basically plug the MM in via usb c, select it as a midi device and then output various midi channels / data.

I’d like to send multiple channel midi outs to different meta cv/gate pairs. I’m guess this might have to be done through a VCV patch that the daw sends to but not sure if there’s another way?

yes, this became recently possible (firmware 2.3.0?) which added midi device mode!

so, use that as input and feed into midi cc to cv etc…

manual covers this nicely…

note: you many want to use 14bit bit, and or slew modules for certain use cases.
