Is there a way to load all plugins at once?

hello, new MM user here. once i downloaded all plugins, i had to load all of them one by one. is there a way to load them all at once? not a big issue as i can load a new one once i download it, but just wondering.

EDIT: it appears a big issue since loaded plugins got reset after i turn the unit off and back on.
EDIT 2: ok turns out i had to set autoload for them, but i wouldn’t mind having smt like: press and hold on an unloaded module and a context menu with “load all” comes up. and when i press a “loaded” module, i have “autoload all” to set it all at once

is there some sort of mechanism that would find the plugin on card and “autoload” any unloaded modules when a patch is opened based on what plugin is used within the patch?

this would be certainly be really convenient! especially possibly to conserve ram down the road when we have a million module brands at our disposal. but i would imagine this feature would add quite a delay depending when running patches, based on how many different module brands were used in the patch(based off my experience of 10-15 seconds of just loading 3rd party plugin brands during boot up)

well if we can have MM identify “needed” patches and load them on demand that would solve everything i guess (maybe it’s already there? if yes, i may be missing something)

Not sure if this is what you mean, but if you click on any loaded plugin file from prefs, there’s a switch labeled “auto load”. Once you select that on for any of them, your MM will simply load it up upon startup. I do this for all the plugins.

yes it’s in fact what i mean but that’s quite a lot of turns and clicks

I get it. At least you do it once and never again? But, perhaps, there will be a feature for ‘autoload all’ in the future?

yeah, i thought jumping back and forth between 1.6.9 and 2.0 dev would be tedious but turns out it doesn’t break anything (and it remembers autoload flag) so indeed it’s “do it once and forget about it”
