i’m a big fan of sampling mangling…i don’t have a MN Morphagene nor a Qu-Bit Nebula…i did notice a Wave Player in the 4ms Meta Module…i tried it with the Granular and Delay but not even close…i can’t even pitch the Sample Loop…Is there a series of Apps i can use to emulate that of a Qu-Bit Nebula? or at least something like the After Later Audio Monsoon?
FWIW Theres 2 modules that might be worth trying…
I was playing with the Bidoo cANARd yesterday… it doesn’t have a dedicated pitch input, but is great fun scrubbing backwards/forwards with speed changing pitch. There is sample triggering / slicing / transients stuff (although you have to go in the menu for that and haven’t tried it yet). It’s also very CPU light.
One I haven’t tried that looks interesting is the Voxglitch grain engine which does have a pitch input.I’m going to have a play with that soon.
It’s maybe worth a play around with these and see if it gets you some of the way there?

oh nice Nilz…i checked out the Link…Now i do not use VCV Rack at all..Never haved…i plan on always building my modules within the unit. Do you know if this module is pre-loaded on my unit?

That Bidoo cANARD…is that a module i need to download? i don’t see it on my list…i haven’t figured how to download modules just yet…i’m sure it’s easy but just wonder if this is a downloaded module..
Yeah its one of the plugins, just download them all (you’ll need to do a firmware update probably).
i just got the unit 2 weeks ago new from Detroit Modular…it shows Firmware v2.1.7,so am i good to download? do i just put on SD Card and that’s it?

Monsoon is just a clone of Clouds isn’t it? In which case all the Audible Instruments modules are just MI clones too - can’t get much closer than that

Not exactly, but it sounds the same.
Monsoon breaks out the controls that on Clouds are different modes with a single knob, so they can be adjusted simultaneously.

Nebulae has spectral mode. For Kamerl beat-repeat you want Fluctus. This stuff is all in the plugin manual FYI.

Thanks for all your replies..i may just opt for the morphagene separately and just use the 4ms as gates & effects…i’ll probably get more enjoyment that way………Also i’m looking to get a 1010music wavetable or granular..u kno,.,those little tiny modules….do i need special midi cable to sequence this? it has no a CV v/oct input..only midi..i’m used to using cv from my external sequencer….is there a CV to Midi converter plugin that comes with this unit?

I thought I could share my experience with MG.
It’s a great module but after 1.5 years I had a hissing digital noise that made it unusable. It’s a known behavior and Make Noise told me that it is what it is.
