Instruo modules? Any road map for these?

One of my favorite parts of VCV is Instruo stuff, curious even if it’s some of the more basic modules if there are any plans for this? Is this something that could be ported personally or would it require further permission?

I’m a bit new here, sorry if this has been asked before!
Mike

This thread covers it as of last December. Would be very low priority of Instruo, and they are closed source so it can’t be done by the community.

Edited: My post was similar to @twhiston that was posted before I finalized mine.

According to what I have read from @danngreen, many devs are waiting until 2.0-dev moves to the stable release before porting over.

That would be so epic, I was not aware of this. Makes all the logic to me. Thank you!!!

Anyone know of something similar to Tanh for MM?

The Pressed Duck stereo mixer from CV Funk has tanh saturation in its level control.

It’s a full on mixer with some extra bells and whistles, so it’s gonna eat more CPU than a simple tanh module, but might fit some of your intended use cases.

I’m working on reducing the CPU load of PressedDuck for MM, in a future update.

Also, the Node module has the same tanh saturator built-in to each channel (just turn the Gain up to 20X). It has a lot lower CPU footprint than PressedDuck since it’s only 2 channels. It’s not yet available on MM, but will be soon!

My tanh saturator is similar to the Instruo one, but it’s more symmetrical. To achieve a more similar effect to Instruo you can to offset the input signal by about -0.1V.

CVFunk,
This is great news!
I was hoping to add a Tanh to some of my feedback patching, and this is right on schedule
