When I make changes to my patch in VCV and send over wifi to the Meta Module, the assigned knobs don’t update properly and the dials and knobs stop working. It persists even when I turn the system off and back on. Not until I take the card out and delete it and re-tranfer it does it update properly.
It’s fine and not a huge deal but wondered if it’s a known issue?
No, that shouldn’t be happening, it should work just as it did in previous versions.
I just verified with a fresh install of v2.0.12, using a patch from the Patch Gallery, and sending a patch over Wi-Fi updates it as expected.
Did you get the pop-up message on the MetaModule about the patch not being able to be reloaded? If you make modifications to a patch on the MM, then it won’t be able to sync with VCV via Wi-Fi anymore. Are there any in-development or experimental plugins involved, or just the official plugins from the metamodule website?
If you get it to happen again, and can share the patch file that doesn’t work (both the VCV file and the yml file – so click the red Save button after clicking the blue WiFi button), that might help us figure out what’s going on.

I was modifying it in VCV Rack then sending it. I wasn’t making changes in Meta Module. I didn’t get any pop-up menus. I was using 4 befaco kickalls and a befaco mixer.
I will definately save the files and send. I’m headed out of town later today for almost 3 weeks so I’ll have to try and do this when I get back. It’s happened more than once to me.
Like I said, I was able to delete the file on the MM card, and restart and resend and it worked ok again.
Sorry I can’t follow up on this right away but I won’t forget when/if it happens again.
