External audio path:
-Main audio outputs on channel 1 and 2
-There are 4 stems being mixed together into the main mixer.
-The main mixer goes into a master reverb and master limiter.
-Sound #1 is a sawtooth VCO going into a lowpass
-Sound #2 is white noise going through a bandpass filter, and distortion.
-Sound #3 is a sine wave going through a VCA with a looping envelope controlling it. The sound is then sent through a distortion.
-Sound #4 is a sine wave that is being randomly gated and sent through a highpass.
Novation launch control mapping:
-Each channel of the mixer has a volume fader and pan mapped to it.
-Each volume fader’s CC is also mapped to each channels main timbre knob.
Sound 1 - filter cutoff
Sound 2 - filter cutoff
Sound 3 - envelope fall time
Sound 4 - pitch and speed of randomization
ah well it’s running but it didn’t make any sound as the parameters aren’t mapped to the physical knobs of the MM, it’s probably solely made for use with external cc. will make some new mappings in VCV.
can i use digitakt via usb to modulate parameters on MM via CC?
since the mm acts as a midi host, and i believe the digitakt is a host as well, they won’t work when directly hooked up together via a usbc male<>male cable. you might need a usb-din adapter such as this one to act as a go between:
eidt: also having a ‘per patch buffer/sample rate’ is on the future features list. once we have that feature and users can set what the ideal buff/rate is for each patch, we won’t have users running into cpu overloads when running patches that they download from wherever.
I just added the CC#'s to the patch description above. You can use any generic MIDI controller so long as you match the CC#s. Digitakt with a USB to MIDI converter will work, @offthesky has the right idea.
