Here’s the Granular/IDM patch we posted on social media a few weeks ago:
Granular synthesis patch with MetaModule!
External audio path:
-Audio out 1 & 2 is main output
Internal audio path:
-Kick, Snare, + hi hat go to 3 channels of the main mixer
-A macro oscillator running the wavetable algorithm is processed through a texture synthesizer and then goes to the main mixer.
-The mixer goes through a master reverb and master limiter.
-White noise runs into the input of an analog shift register
Internal logic path:
-Main clock generated by the SEQ 3 and divided by the rotating clock divider
-The RCD outputs are clocking the Shuffling Clock Multiplier and analog shift register’s clock inputs.
-The shuffling clock multiplier uses an external switch to toggle between two divisions.
-Outputs from the SCM trigger the main amplitude envelope for the macro oscillator and the freeze logic input on the texture synthesizer
Internal CV Path:
The analog shift register is our master modulation source and controls:
-Wavetable timbre
-Wavetable color
-Grain position
-Grain size
-Granulation dry/wet
-Reverb dry/wet
-Reverb decay
-Reverb diffusion filter high band
-SCM Rotate
-SCM PW (freeze length)

A - SCM Rotate
B - SCM Slip
C - SCM Shuffle
D - SCM Skip
E - SCM PW
F - SCM Division selection
U - Main warping sound volume
V - Kick volume
W - Snare volume
X - Hi hat volume
Y - Decay time for main warping sound
