I just returned from a 3 week vacation and when I powered up my system, I noticed the WIFI module was red. I had just updated to v2.08 before leaving, so I thought maybe that was the issue, but I didn’t see any reports here that matched what I had, which was the module was seen my the MM, just no network connection.
After several firmware changes followed by multiple attempts to go through the provisioning process, I started to suspect my router, which is dual speed. I disabled the 5GHz radio and immediately the light went green on the expander. It stayed on after re-enabling the 5GHz radio, so it seems that it just wasn’t initially connecting after being powered down. I thought my experience might be of help to others here if they experience a similar situation as one other thing you can check to fix the problem.
