@danngreen, talk about fast!!! Thank you! That fixes it and now I’m getting cv and gates from my MIDI controller on the expander.

@danngreen - with 2.1.14, i’m firing up my 6x wav player ymls for some upcoming shows but i’m getting occasional screen freeze crashes again. it always happens right after pressing, then releasing the patch play button, typically after having run through 10+ ymls. any ideas?

edit: not sure if this info is useful but before loading any new patches, im making sure in currently loaded patch that all wavplayers are stopped and the patch is not running

Hmm, I haven’t seen that yet but I can try. Is it the same patches as you had before (different wavs perhaps, but that shouldn’t effect things)?

its a bit more of an advanced version from the last time we ran through this. the same wavs from before (as they were named then, stem01-01 etc) should still work. i’ll dm you a .zip of the new ymls

having played through both the sample pack that you already have, and the ones that i am working with currently, i am noticing that these crashes seem to be only occurring with the current sample set (i haven’t experienced crashes with that old islemark sample set from last year). i’ve double checked and there’s nothing unusual about these new ones. all 48/16 stereo. i might need to send you these new samples and their corresponding ymls (which should be almost identical to the ymls in that wetransfer)

also i’ve observed the crash by just jumping quickly from one yml to the next: loading a yml, pushing play button so it starts to preload, then loading and running the next yml down, not even pushing play on any of the wavplayers at all.

here are some examples of the crash in action:

in the mean time i can try and roll back to firmware 2.1.1 - the last firm i used with success with these ymls last year. so far, that firm doesn’t seem to have any crashes though will let you know if that changes.
