Announcing firmware v2.1.11, now adding some handy new features:
New Features:
-
Module Aliases: you can give a custom name to each module in a patch. Aliases can be assigned in MM or in VCV (requires VCV plugin v2.1.6). Feature by @gabrielroth , much thanks! See Feature request: User-assigned module names for discussion.
Minor features
- Add support for endless rotary encoders. (Impromptu plugin uses these). These can be mapped like any knob, but of course mapping a physical non-endless knob to a virtual endless encoder makes it not “endless” anymore. In the Adjust… pop-up you can use the encoder on the MM to endlessly adjust the virtual encoder.
- Handle some widgets that have no graphic. The use-case for this was the pads on the Impromptu CV-Pad module. These essentially are invisible buttons. You can now map and select these like any ordinary button.
- Draw most recently moved knob on top. Thanks to @hemmer. This adds support for stacked knobs, see Draw most recently moved knob on top by hemmer · Pull Request #559 · 4ms/metamodule · GitHub
Fixes
- Fixed QCD Div/Mult knob (see Quad Clock · Issue #56 · 4ms/4ms-vcv · GitHub )
